The Chinese School of Philanthropy @Guangzhou is dedicated to identifying and cultivating social actors who are capable of systematically analyzing social problems and developing informed, practice-oriented responses. We believe that sustained intellectual support and institutional grounding are essential to their long-term development, and that such actors will play a critical role in advancing China’s philanthropic sector. We seek to work alongside these practitioners and scholars in bridging ideals with practice, and in contributing to the cultivation of socially responsible leadership.

Founded in June 2014, the Chinese School of Philanthropy @Guangzhou (CSoP@ Guangzhou) is the first academy in China that focuses on philanthropic education and philanthropic culture studies. Adhering to the values of "self-reliance and helping others, modesty, pragmatism, purity, and gratitude", the CSoP @Guangzhou aims to cultivating philanthropic leadership, conducting philanthropic studies, and promoting philanthropic culture. Drawing on 20 years of experience in philanthropic education, and leveraging our network of global and domestic scholars, we are dedicated to philanthropic leadership education and philanthropic studies.
